2018 Stormwater Project Construction Notice

Improvements to the City's storm water system will be constructed this summer on East Street and Hector Street.  The project includes installation of a rain garden in the grassy island at the intersection of Hector, Parker, and Underwood Drive, storm drain inlets, piping, new drainage bioswales, and underground infiltration chambers.  An advance notice was mailed on April 19th to properties that may be directly impacted by this project.  The Complete Citywide Low Impact Development (LID) project plans are available for review at City Hall, and in the Stormwater Project file in the Document Library of this website.

General questions about the project should be directed to the City's Grant Administrator Becky Price-Hall.  She can be reached at 707-499-6454, or by email at rpricehall@trinidad.ca.gov

Detailed construction-related questions should be directed to City Engineer Dagan Short.  He can be reached at GHD in Eureka at 707-443-8326, or by email at dagan.short@ghd.com.  If you would like to receive weekly email notices describing the planned construction activities and possible temporary road closures, please call or email Dagan as soon as possible.
